Editorial Policy & Methodology
The standards behind everything we publish — how we research, write, disclose, and correct.
Our Mission
TRADE90 exists to help traders become consistently profitable before asking them to join a prop firm. Every guide, tool, and resource is built to answer a real question a funded trader has before, during, or after a trade.
We are an education platform first. Calculators support the education; affiliate recommendations appear only after substantial educational value has been delivered — never before.
How We Write
Articles are researched and written by traders with live evaluation and funded-account experience, then reviewed for accuracy before publication. We prioritise clarity and correctness over volume.
We do not publish hype, guaranteed-return claims, or fabricated income screenshots. Where we cite numbers, we use verifiable mathematics — compound drawdown, break-even win rates, expectancy — rather than invented statistics or unsourced survey figures.
Accuracy & Corrections
Every article carries a visible 'last updated' date. Prop firm rules change frequently; we describe them as typical structures and consistently advise verifying current terms on each firm's official website.
If you find an error, contact us and we will correct it promptly. Material corrections are reflected in the update date.
Calculator Assumptions
Our calculators use standard, widely-published pip and point values (for example, $10 per pip per standard lot on most USD-quoted forex majors, $10 per point per 0.1 lot on gold, and $1 per point per 0.1 lot on major indices). Actual values vary by broker and contract specification.
Drawdown and compounding tools use exact arithmetic on the inputs you provide. They are planning illustrations, not predictions — real trading results include variance, spread, commissions, and slippage that a calculator cannot model.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links to prop firms are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, TRADE90 may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never changes what we write: firm coverage is intended to be balanced, rules-focused, and free of pressure tactics.
We recommend at most one or two firms per relevant article, and only after the educational content stands on its own. We do not rank firms in exchange for higher commissions.
Not Financial Advice
Nothing on TRADE90 is financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing should be treated as a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. You are responsible for your own decisions; consider consulting a licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.
